Meet our Caregiver
Irina Dey loves her job in the Nursery and looks forward to playing with the children in her care each Sunday. Parents will be comforted by Irina's warmth and experience. She engages toddlers in creative play and often takes them on short "field trips" to the Hosmer Children's Library. Irina graduated from Lesley University in May 2015 with a degree in Child Studies with a track in teaching infants and toddlers. Irina is a graduate of AB High School and Fisher College where she earned an Associate’s degree in Arts and Early Childhood Education. Irina has experience as a teacher at the Infant Toddler Center and at the Government Center Child Care Corporation. Irina is currently employed by the YMCA in Cambridge as a Preschool Teacher. She has also developed age and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and done research projects based on children’s interests. Irina is a certified Lead Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teacher and also CPR and First Aid certified.
